Boat Cruise Reception
This 16-mile cocktail cruise on serene and stunning Lake Placid passes by private island estates, great camps and the landing at Whiteface Mountain.
Up to 60 guests enjoy the open bar, including hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, during the one-hour cruise. Other options are available for larger groups.
The menu can be customized to your theme or preferences.

For active meeting attendees, you can select an exhilarating group event with participation in golf, snowshoeing, skiing or other outdoor activity of your choosing.

Hall of Fame & Sports Museum Reception
Celebrate your event among the photos, paintings and memorabilia of history-making Olympic games. You will be meeting right inside the Olympic Hall of Fame and Sports Museum, with the nostalgic displays of Olympic lore available for all to see up close.
Your catered menu can be anything from simple hors d'oeuvres to a cocktail reception, complete with carving stations.

Olympic Challenge
Treat your delegates to a real Olympic race - where they are the contestants! Your group will plunge into fun in our Olympic venue with bobsled runs, downhill-skiing races, laps around the world-famous speed-skating oval, and more. Former Olympic champions act as your coaches, cheering everyone on.
Alternatively, a former Olympian might star as a motivational speaker for your group.
Any of our established catering menus can be incorporated into the Olympic Challenge themed event, or we can create something just for your guests.

Olympic Ski Jump Reception
The Olympic Ski Jump Cocktail Reception is a uniquely memorable event. Begin with a ride to the top of the 120-meter jump in a glass-enclosed elevator. You won't soon forget the daring freestyle aerialist or the incredible ski jump from the 120-meter tower, demonstrated just for your group!
You will enjoy an open bar of complete liquors and delight in our Chef's choice of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres.

The Successful Team Experience and Personal Satisfaction (STEPS) program involves a progressive series of collaborative exercises and games, trust-building activities and additional personal challenges.
A barbecue menu works well with this event to create a fun, informal atmosphere.

Themed Meals
Our most popular themed meals are the authentic Adirondack Evening and the Barbecue Picnic or Clambake. These events both have a local flavor, with Adirondack décor such as Adirondack pack baskets, pine decorations, red gingham tablecloths and staff attire to complement the theme.
Themed meals can accommodate up to 400 guests.

Adirondack Evening
Casual "mountain" attire is in order for this Hilton Lake Placid Resort specialty. This event is just plain "good ol' fun," leaving unforgettable memories. Our Chef's mouthwatering menu includes:
- Brook trout amandine, roast loin of pork
- Maple mustard chicken, beef brochette
- Delmonico potatoes, new potatoes, fresh vegetables
- Adirondack corn bread, fresh dinner rolls and butter
- Tossed salad greens
- Baked apple in a robe, maple mousse

Barbecue Picnic

Toboggan Party on Mirror Lake
Bring your hat and mittens! This thrilling event sends your toboggan of four people onto frozen Mirror Lake for a wintertime adventure. Your attendees will remember this event for years after they ride in our real toboggans.
At break time, sip hot toddies and hot chocolate and nibble on hors d'oeuvres and barbecue items in a heated tent.
