Renovations have begun!

The first glance of the new guest rooms.

The entire staff is extremely excited about our upcoming renovations. We are committed to providing an exceptional, quality resort experience that our guests have come to expect. These renovations will allow us to not only meet, but to exceed every expectation for years to come. The plan calls for a complete transformation of all of our buildings...every room, every hallway, all of the meeting spaces and conference rooms, our indoor and outdoor pool areas, even our restaurant and pub. Exacting attention to detail will be the rule, not the exception.

Our 133 rooms will be totally remodeled into bastions of ultimate comfort and convenience. All rooms will feature either two amazingly comfortable queen size beds, or a majestic king bed, both outfitted with luxurious bedding and silky linens. Designer furnishings will be of superior quality, including deluxe new carpet and elegant drapery. Bathrooms will be restyled using artistic tile and exquisite fixtures. Plush, absorbent towels and the finest in toiletries will redefine the entire experience. New Flat Screen televisions and multi-function music systems will add the finishing touch to the room's enjoyment.

All of our meeting spaces will receive a complete facelift, including beautiful new floors, graceful wall treatment, and dramatic, functional lighting. There will be additional square footage for meetings and conferences, weddings and reunions. Tables and chairs will incorporate the latest in conference-comfort technology. Audiovisual aids will be designed to perform flawlessly and to accommodate any need.

The renovation will allow for a completely new restaurant featuring refined dining in a most relaxing atmosphere. Sumptuous meals will be individually prepared and will use the freshest, healthiest ingredients to please the most discriminating pallet.

• Our new Pub will offer delectable creative fare and a connoisseur's selection of the finest boutique wines and other thirst quenching beverages.
• Delightfully cozy, oversized outdoor seating will allow our guests to relax and unwind, and enjoy their favorite drink amid the spectacular views over sparkling Mirror Lake and the stunning Adirondack High Peaks.

Our goal is to exceed every expectation for outstanding comfort, exceptional service and superior quality. We will be a hotel like no other in Lake Placid.
